"Leaving this review with a smile on my face. This was one of the BEST and I mean BEST steakhouse experiences I’ve had in years. My steak was cooked to absolute perfection and packed with flavor. To me a truly good steak is one you can eat with no condiments and Benson’s ribeye was nothing short of that I literally needed nothing for it. Their sides were also 10/10 the praline casserole and brussel sprouts were to die for and that white chocolate bread pudding did not disappoint!! Amazing flavors, we had a full 3 course meal and enjoyed every single thing we ordered, even their cocktails. Great job to the staff at this place seriously, everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will be back repeatedly."

"The food was impeccable!! The atmosphere was very laid back and sort of upscale while being down-to-earth. The service was absolutely top tier! Our server was NIKKI and we had a large party. She was very responsive and attentive to all of our needs. Nikki was exceptional and we loved her!!! The manager was a delight as well. We all loved our experience at Benson's!!!!"

"Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had locally. The ribeye steak was nothing short of phenomenal—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can truly tell the quality of the cut and the care that goes into preparing it. What made the night even better was our server, Scotty. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever being overbearing. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Service like that is rare and absolutely appreciated. Between the amazing food and outstanding service, this steakhouse has earned a top spot on our list. "Not being from Hattiesburg my husband and I came here to celebrate 22 years of marriage. We decided to to come here and were so glad we did! Noah was a great server! Our food was not only cooked to perfection, but he made our night extra special by surprising us with a white chocolate bread pudding for dessert! It too, was delicious just as everything else!"

The hostess also had the most welcoming smile, I didn’t catch her name but she said she just started a few days ago. We will recommend and return in the future!"

"Our new favorite steakhouse. Amazing food. The pepper jack cheese logs taste like they are hand battered in the back. Melt in your mouth tender filet cooked to perfection. We were seated immediately and shocked with no wait at 630 on a Saturday. The Beth Dutton cocktail is the perfect balance you want in a drink. Don’t sleep on the brussel sprouts. They were delicious. Our server, Kim, took excellent care of us. Top shelf customer service, Kim! We will definitely ask for her section when we return. We even bought bacon and ground beef from their meat market on the way out. Can’t wait to try it."
